saturday afternoon -

var: argh! i need to get away

me: hahah damn were hella random... call Park and lets go!

so yes 4 of us head up to Reno at freaking 9pm ... get to our janky hotel room, gamble & drink, next morning - hit the slopes up... stop by in Davis for some Pho, get home...all in 24 hours.  gotta love the road trips...

another random event -

   me : wtf again? we didnt catch that much last time...
willie : i have a feeling were gonna get alot more tonight, c'mon lets go!
   me : ...fine, we better catch alot...im only going cuase its not cold tonight 

willie, and my hs friend vathana and i head to SF... willie was right, we caught alot of crabs...a whole ice chest full...    crazy what a little bit of chicken meat can catch

went to SC on saturday night, it was good seeing everyone again.

saw the Academy Awards sunday night, that was stupid...LOTR swept winning a total of 11 Oscars? wtf... however it didn't win a single acting award...lol go figure...you spend 100's of million of dollars: pay off the academy voters @ guess you can win 11 Oscars... heh ;P

"Mystic River" *clap* won both actor/supporting award which it deserved... 
should have been nominated for more awards and won them all... "Lost in Translation" won for best original screenplay, yet another Coppola generation begins again... over all it was a wack night, esp when one movie wins everything...

what a weekend!

so its friday night and some of my friends and i decide to go to Reno for the weekend: go skiing & boarding, hit the casinos, the works.  I haven't had that much fun since going to Maui for spring-break last year.  I never wanna go to a buffet again...every meal was a buffet and lemme just say after eating all the prime rib and shrimp you can eat, it gets tiring... 

not skiing for couple years i thought i would really suck, but after one run down the trail i was ready to hit the high slopes, guess it is like riding a bike you never forget...  so like half the time were waiting for two of the guys i went with cause why? there snowboarding...and still not that good.  esp at the top of the mountain when were trying to hit the runs...gearing up took so long...and the straight a ways forget it, it would take forever for them to get ready... still it was a blast.  so many funny moments: when i fell and did 4 rolls down the hill because of some stupid noob that ran into me! my friend was coming down the hill backwards on his board, and his pants were falling off and his crack was showing, numerous times pissing in nature while covering for friends...

coming back home i realized that this weekend was really what i needed...just a random trip anywhere, since my winter break pretty much sucked this one made it up.  now i am torn, i used to love the beach and tropical weather now i love the snow and mountains...i need to live somewhere which has both! 

on the home we were already planning on our next trip...i dunno where but hopefully soon
